Scheelite with Aquamarine – Exceptional, Flawless Gems on Muscovite
Specifications
Description
Acquired directly from the mine by Fine Minerals International in 2018 (No restorations or repairs) A refined and highly aesthetic association specimen from the renowned Pingwu Beryl Mine, pairing a luminous golden scheelite crystal with a delicate aquamarine, both elegantly nestled within sculptural muscovite. Directly acquired at the source in 2018 and completely free of restorations or repairs, the piece retains absolute integrity and locality confidence. The scheelite is the undeniable focal point — a sharply defined, gemmy crystal glowing with rich honeyed-orange to amber tones. Its transparency is exceptional, allowing light to penetrate deeply and ignite the interior with a warm, almost molten brilliance. The crystal faces are crisp and well-formed, with clean edges and strong luster that enhance its architectural presence. Balancing the warmth of the scheelite is a beautifully terminated aquamarine crystal of soft sea-green hue. The beryl displays excellent clarity and a gentle, glassy luster, its prismatic form emerging gracefully from the muscovite matrix. The cool, tranquil coloration provides striking chromatic contrast against the saturated golden scheelite — a pairing that feels both natural and artistically composed. Encasing and framing both primary crystals is a dramatic bed of muscovite in classic “book” formation. The muscovite forms radiating, silvery-white rosettes and layered blades, creating a textured, almost floral backdrop. Its pearly sheen and feathery structure add visual softness, enhancing the sculptural balance of the specimen. The composition is compact yet dynamic. The placement of scheelite and aquamarine within the muscovite matrix creates a harmonious dialogue of color, geometry, and texture: Warm amber scheelite Cool sea-green aquamarine Silvery, sculptural muscovite Pingwu is globally celebrated for producing world-class scheelite and aquamarine associations, yet pieces displaying this level of clarity, balance, and aesthetic proportion — particularly with undamaged, unrepaired crystals — remain highly sought after. This specimen is a quintessential Pingwu composition: elegant, luminous, and mineralogically significant. A cabinet jewel that combines rarity, beauty, and impeccable provenance in a single, naturally perfected tableau.
